BEGINNER BASICS
The first workshop I hosted was the one I was looking to attend myself when I started dabbling in photography.  We cover camera function (really shooting manual, what all those buttons mean, how important proper lens choice is, etc),  post-production and computer work (editing software, batch edit, delivery, etc), branding for your business, and the more relational skill of running a session and being "live" at the events you cover.  There are so many directions to go and questions to ask, it's nice to have a dedicated environment to brainstorm, think out loud, learn and set vision.

"I had the oh-so-fun opportunity to attend for Kristen's workshop. It was a week full of laughter, crazy photobooth fun, late nights, yummy food, and photography talk. It was the best best BEST thing that I’ve ever done for my business, and I’m so grateful for it. I’m grateful for Kristen being honest about her failures, and things she didn’t do right. I’m grateful for the way she shared openly about the things she had done right and that had helped grow her business. I flew out to DC for a week with my rebel xti and 20lb laptop, to stay with someone I’d never met, in the hopes that this little step would somehow get me closer to my dream of being a wedding photographer and got so much more than I bargained for."
