My treasure day.

Daylight-Savings time is one of my favorite days of the year. I just looooove it! It is the beginning of spring, sunshine and (hopefully) warm weather. And, in the photography world, its so awesome because I get my beautiful light back! After months of harsh, short sunsets, I can take pictures in the lovely, silky long evenings. I was so smiley when I was doing the shoot with Shannon & Lauren yesterday. I love that God does what He does with light :)

Welcome back sunshine!!!!

There's a lightA certain kind of lightThat never shone on meI want my whole life to beLived with youLived with youThere's a way
Everybody sayTo do each and every little thingBut what good does it bring
If i ain't got you?Ain't got you?Baby, You don't know what it's like, Baby, You don't know what it's likeTo love somebody
To love somebodyThe way I love you
In my brain
I see your face again
I know my frame of mind
You ain't got to be so blind
I'm blind, so so so blind
I'm a man, can't you see
What i am
I live and breathe for you
{how CUTE is she???}
But what good does it doIf i ain't got you, ain't got you?

Shannon & Lauren - you have no idea what it's like to love you! I do not know what I would do without you. I love you more than cheese! ;D

Hi friends!

{Hey Jude, don't be afraid
You have found her, now go and get her}

This little guy is too cuute! I especially love it when he says "let her" and "remember" hahahaawww cute kid :)

Ok, so this is just a little "hello" post... all my friends are working like mad during midterm week at school. They are all so busy, but I am so proud of them for working so hard!

And I just liked these shots of our youth-pastors kids playing at their house :) They are just adorable!

Oh, awww.

"I think that possibly, maybe I'm falling for you"

Yesterday I did an engagement shoot for Christy and Shaun. Now, I might write more than normal for the, because, well, I have a lot to say :)

When I was in highschool, Christy assisted our youth-pastor in basically making all events happen. She planned trips to Mexico, banquets for hundreds of people and monthly meetings and activities. She is just "that" person in a church that could do it all. I am suuuure that there were stressful times, but Christy has this calm, collected, pulled-together way about her that I was always in awe of. I don't remember seeing her flustered, upset or even very emotional. She just did what needed to be done and she did it excellently. She truly is a servant. All of my friends and I would, of course, be trying to figure out WHO on earth would marry Christy. We always had someone in our minds that we thought would be great with Christy. But, oh no no no, God had someone PERfect for her.I don't really know Shaun, but, oh.my.gosh. He has totally stolen Christy's heart, swung her off her feet, flown her to Cloud 9, melted her like wax and has made her act like I have NEVER seen before! She is like every stereo-typical "girl-in-love." She almost seems like a character in a movie - but movies aren't supposed to be real...
Christy is just glowing, smiling, laughing, "awww-ing", tripping, talking, gazing - all of it. This calm, collected, solid girl is now dancing around a park, giggling like a school girl with the boy of her dreams. Shaun must be quite a man. To top it off, when they first started going out, Christy really did not like him that much. In fact, about 3 weeks in she tried to break up with him. While she was talking and basically ending things he was thinking "Ooooh shoot." but he apparently handled it amazingly, because that conversation was the one where Christy started to realllly like him. As she was talking she was thinking "Oh goodness, what am I doing?!?!" Needless to say, God worked it all out quite well and I could not be happier for you two!

Congratulations Christy and Shaun! I am so excited for wedding in two weeks!!!

Middle-School Sweethearts!

Hannah was a boppy, cutie little 13-year-old girl living her life in Cleveland, Ohio. Probably as regular and normal as anyone else. Then, a new boy from Maryland moved into town. She told me "Oh man, I liked him. A lot. He was like Jonathan Taylor Thomas, only real! And I knew him!" For 8 years she has liked, and eventually loved this boy. No breaks, no "I am over him!" no moving on to the next cute guy - she liked him the whole time :) He started liking her a few years later because, as he says "13-year-old boys, well, yeah..." hahaha
They then had the tough task of waiting. They were really young and could only dream of being married. However, on Valentine's Day the wait was over! Hannah and David are to be married in August, after Hannah accepted David's super romantic proposal :)
{question : old 97's}

"She woke from a dream
Her head was on fire
Why was he so nervous?"
He took her to the parkShe crossed her arms
And lowered her eyelids
Some day somebody's gonna ask youA question that you should say yes toOnce in your lifeMaybe tonight I've got a question for you
She'd had no idea
Started to cry
She said in a good way
He took her by the hand
Walked her back homeThey took the long way
Some day somebody's gonna ask youA question that you should say yes to
Once in your lifeMaybe tonight I've got a question for you
I've got a question for you
Congratulations Hannah and David!!! And I cannot wait for your wedding in August!

Happy Weekend!

It's March! And it's sunny-ish! And spring is one the way!
My favorite quote from yesterday: I was picking up Seneca (the little girl I baby-sit from the last post) and taking her to gymnastics. When she was getting in my car I was like "Hey Noodle, you are ready for GYMnasTICS?!?!" and she was like "Noodle?!" And I said "Oh, wait, you're not a noodle. You are a porcupine, right?" She just laughed and I said "Hmm, if you're not a porcupine than you must be a DoratheExplorer!" She was like "NO! I am a Seneca! And I eat fast."
It was about as random as it sounded. She is Seneca. She eats fast. I like it.
Have a merry weekend!

Serious Blog Break!

{this is just a lovely picture i came across of a lovely friend, and i felt like posting it :D}

That was one of the longest blog breaks I have had in a while! Pardon me :)
It's hard to blog when its so gloomy outside. There's nothing to take pictures of. It's freezing. And, I am pretty busy doing the "other-half" of this job! Hahah
It's very fun to me, however, to be getting all ready and prepared for this upcoming year! I have also been scouring the world for songs - cause I have lots of madly-in-love-couples this year, who need good songs for their posts! haha I can't wait to use them! Brides, I hope you are half as excited as I am!!!
So, here's a quick update...
First of all - we have had a nasty flu going around our house. So far Dude and I are the last ones who haven't gotten it... we'll see if our rock-solid immune system can do it!
Poor baby girl :(

I have also been baby-sitting a lot. I so love kids - and I have been seeing these two kiddos a ton recently!
I have known them since they were first born (I remember when their mom was pregnant with both of them :D) And I love being them.
Recently I have been getting them up and off to school on occasional weekdays. We make breakfast, get dressed, play around and then do the car-pool. I def feel like a mother and its preeeetty fun hehe
And I have to introduce everyone to my dear friend, Nadia. There will be a whole post on her later, but I just have to you a little about her.
Nadia is one of the most amazing people you could ever dream of meeting, though she would never think so herself. Her story and life is just simply a miraculous and inspiring story of a faithful woman and her faithful God. I love being with Nadia and laughing (very, very hard - she thinks I'm pretty funny haha), crying, talking, learning and laughing more. So, stay tuned for more about her :)
Oh! And we did a little photoshoot in her apartment a little while back. It was quite fun!
I went to an incredible conference this past weekend with about 20 people from my church. It was a Passion Conference, where worship was led by Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman and Charlie Hall. It was, like, I am trying to find words to explain it, it was just a beautiful time. I fell in love all over again with my Savior - He is too good to me!!!
So, besides getting ready for my crUUuuiisse, where I will be getting taaaan, I am just chilling :)
Oh! I have been getting more organized I am sitting in a fabulously clean room right now that smells like PassionFruit & Guava (I am IN LOVE with B&BW's WallFlowers!). I am also realizing that taxes. Taxes, taxes, taxes. Yeah, thats enough said. I am just realizing TAXES. (In all honesty, its not terrible yet. But, I have just begun. So, we'll see how it continues...)

The shoots start back up again on Monday, with an engagement shoot. Wait for it, waaait for it...

Finally!

I did an excellently fun senior portrait session a few months back. I kept saying I needed to post and I don't know why I never got to doing them! I am really good friends with all of them, and I had so much fun. They make.me.laugh.
Ok, so, I have had this Carrie Underwood song called "All-American Girl" stuck in my head for weeks. Since this shoot was 1 guy and 5 girls, I decided to use it. Billy, sorry that you get the few "boy lines" at the beginning :)

Enjoy!

Since the day they got married,He'd been praying for a little baby boySomeone he could take fishing,Throw the football and be his pride and joyHe could already see him holding that trophy,
Taking his team to statesBut when the nurse came in with a little pink blanket,All those big dreams changedAnd now he's wrapped around her finger,She's the center of his whole worldAnd his heart belongs to that
sweet, little beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American Girl!
Sixteen short years later,She was falling for the senior football starBefore you knew it he was dropping passes,Skipping practice just to spend more time with her
The coach said "Hey son, what's your problem?""Tell me, have you lost your mind?" Daddy said "You'll lose your free ride to college.""Boy, you better tell her goodbye".
But now he's wrapped around her finger,She's the center of his whole worldAnd his heart belongs to that
sweet, little beautiful,
wonderful, perfect All-American...And when they got married and decided to have one of their own,She said "Be honest, tell me what do you want" And he said "Honey, you oughta know... Sweet, little, beautiful... one just like you. Oh a beautiful, wonderful, perfect All-American..."

Quotes

So, I have some favorite quotes from this week aaand I am gonna blog them with some pics. Today is a cut to the chase day haha

"I am held by how humble
Yet overwhelmed by your majesty...
That you are so marvelous, God
And I am so in love with you"
{big daddy weave}"I knew that I would never remember what she was wearing,
But I knew that I could never forget how she looked"
{george banks in father of the bride}Michael: "The early worm gets the worm!!!"
Jim: "Really, he gets another worm? ...Is it his friend?"
{the office}And this whole post is a sneak-peak to my next post, which I did FORever ago!

Post 2!

Ok, this is, again, a very long post - sorry it took me so long to do it! I had to go through many pictures and figure out exactly what I wanted to say :)

So, the rest of the wedding pictures are of the cocktail hour and reception :)

They had really yummy drinks - Pomegranate Tea, Arnold Palmer and a peach something. It was so refreshing haha
Right when the ceremony ended, this incredible California glow landed on the whole area. It was so warm and sunny, and made for some yummy light!
Aaaaah. I want to go back to that moment. It was just so happy watching everyone drinking their cute little drinks, and wearing their cute little dresses and laughing, and, ugh, it was just beautiful.
I looked over at one point, and away from everyone else, the bride and her sister were dancing together - and all three of them were singing and laughing. It was too precious :)Slowly the sun sank, and an impeccable evening followed. The reception was in what was basically a barn mixed with a sunroom. It was all rustic and adorable, but had floor to celing glass windows all the way around. Plus, on one side there was no wall at all - it was just open, so you could feel the breeze...
Brittany and Rod were sweeter than ever, and I spent most the evening just watching them interact.
Rod wrote Brittany a song, and sang it for her (possibly one of the most romantic things ever). He actually has a very, very nice voice and is a fabulous guitar player - I wish the song was recorded, cause I would love to listen to it again!
The night ended with a slideshow and an awesome jazz band, with swing dancing. It was just a perfect day :)
Congratulations Rod and Brittany!!!

Ok, I would be a total idiot if I did not talk about the people I "worked with" at the wedding.
Jessica Claire and David Jay are my heroes in photography. I honestly in my wildest, most imaginative dreams (and I have HUGE dreams) would never have thought that I would be shooting a wedding with them, especially being 18.
It was officially David Jay's wedding, and he was SO kind to let me come. He has been so wonderful in talking to me, answering questions, commenting on my blog and being very generous with his knowledge. It was seriously an honor to shoot with him.
Jessica Claire. Jeez, I don't quite know where to begin.
When I was 15 I was sure I was going to do sign language. I was about to take my 3rd year of it in highschool, and I was preparing to make my way quickly through school, to start working ASAP. I had just "finished" a long process of deciding what I wanted to really do/pursue after highschool. The main four things were writing, teaching disabled kids, sign language and photography. I had shot a wedding, bought a camera a completely loved photography (and weddings, my goodness, I love weddings). But, looking at wedding photographers in my area and looking at the "business" of it, I wasn't thrilled. I picked sign language, and in my stubborn nature, was determined not to change that. Until, that was, I found Jessica Claire's blog.

I was roaming around theknot.com one afternoon and somehow found this lady - this lady who was, in my mind, a perfect photographer. Her pictures were exactly what wedding pictures should be. Over the next few weeks I found David Jay, Sarah Barlow, [b], Jasmine Star and the Boutwell's.

I dropped out of Sign Language III, bought my camera and began this adventure of a life. So, to be able to shoot with this amazing woman who basically changed my mind career-wise is a dream come true, to say the least. Jessica, THANK YOU for your inspiration and kindness to me!!!

Now, I have been getting tons of e-mails from people asking me how I was able to shoot this wedding, with these "greats." Well, as the saying goes "it's not what you know, it's who you know." My friend Josh Newton invited to come along, because he was also shooting the wedding and knows the bride's family really well. He knew how much I loved California and wanted to shoot with these people. I can't thank him enough for the invitation! He is also a super-talented photographer, himself!
There were also so greaaaat videographers there too. Jonathon, Brett and Paul rocked that wedding! So, after the wedding we all went to DJ's house ("The Freedom House") I just has to photograph some of my favorite parts :)

He has these little wire men that are randomly on different walls - they make my day.He has a real orange tree. With real awesome tasting oranges. His bathroom floor has polka dots on it. hahahahah that totally kills me hahaI think his kitchen is adorable. It's such a girl kitchen haha but, really, its awesome...
This is a sneak peek at one of the things we did at his house....Oh! And Jessica Claire have Brienne her very own personal ShootSac. Brienne was basically on Cloud 9 :)
This would be why I want to move to Cali. It looks like this in stinkin' February!!!!
And here are a few more favorites that Brienne took of me and Nat :)Phew! That was a long one - probably too long, but, oh well :) I enjoyed myself THAT much!

Part One

Warning: This is a stinkin' huge blog post. Be aware :)

Since the wedding in Santa Barbara with David Jay, Jessica Claire and Josh Newton was so wonderful, I am going to do two posts - broken into sections.
I am going to write thoughts, memories and, oh, I don't know, something amazing, in between the pictures ;) Enjoy!

Details:
This girl is a girl after my own heart. Three cheers for Jimmy Choo!Gots to loooove those lovely lashesBrittany had a stunning Monique Lluhlier gown - it fit her flawlessly!
Oh, it was too cute, the little flower girl had a bunny wearing a dress that matched her own. It was sooo adorable!Prep:

Brittany is one of those girls who on a scale of 1-10 is an 11 in the beauty department. And, my goodness, good looks run in her family! Her mom is stunning, as well.As well as her sister, and, eh, her dad's not too bad ;)See what I mean????"It's her hair and her eyes today
That just simply take me away" Time to get that Monique on!"Bats her eyes as she plays,
with me sitting there slack-jawed and nothing to say" I loved how excited her friends were for her . They all have such a wonderful relationship.
And there she is, in all her radiance. She had the biggest "bridal glow" in the world. I really couldn't stop staring at her (good thing I had a camera to hide behind, or else that would have been a little weird)"Cause I love her with all that I am
And my voice shakes along with my hands"" Cause she’s all that I see and she’s all that I need
And I'm out of my league once again"

The Ceremony:

I just adore this picture of Rod, waiting for Brittany. You just feel so bad for him! I am like "Oh, Brittany, hurry up! He's waiting for you!"As much as I adore the last picture, I adore this one even more. Rod's dad is a pastor and married them. I love what this picture communicates between them. After the long wait, here she comes. Brittany and her dad were laughing and smiling the whole way down the aisle. It was way precious."It's a masterful melody when she calls out my name to me
as the world spins around her she laughs, rolls her eyes"
"And I feel like I'm falling but it's no surprise
Cause I love her with all that I am"

The New Couple:

Ecclesiastes 9:9

"Cause I love her with all that I am"

It's so um, miraculous, really how God brought Rod from to Australia and Brittany from California together, while serving in a Third World country. They have an amazing love story, and amazing love and an amazing God.

Post 2: coming up!

I don't want to go home :(

Brienne Michelle did an awesome shoot with us yesterday! Shall we call it a farewell shoot?

I don't even know what to say. Seriously, this state is like a little slice of heaven and everyone should be required to go. I just love California with sooo much of my heart.

We laughed our hearts out, smiled bigger than ever and loved every single second of our time here.

Brienne, THANK your for hosting us, driving us everywhere! and becoming a new awesome, awesome friend.

Day 2

Daaaay 2 has been incredible.Natalie, Brienne and I woke up this morning at their house in LA and then drove to Santa Barbara. idhkbfciukdsjbviekjdsinkvn. iuwiuv. Santa Barbara makes me stinkin' happy.
The car ride was also way fun. We have had some delicious Cali food - and enjoying ourselves a ton.So, orange orchards smell beautiful. I was sitting in the back seat of Brienne's car, drinking a Green Tea Peach smoothie, listening to Tyrone Wills, sniffing thousands of oranges on a 80 degree day - and I teared up. I was SO happy. I feel dumb being so happy over this, but I am just happy. I keep telling everyone that this be what it feels like to be in love, cause I can't imagine being happier haha :)
I love California.

And I also love Brienne. She is making this whole trip possible!!! She was won my "Human of the Week" award haha
It's actually pretty cool, because she just got an opportunity to shoot with one of her heroes, Melissa Jill, tomorrow. She just left for Palm Springs and should have a grand time!Alright, so here are a few more random snaps from today...

I love California.
Good night, life :)
I am going to sleep now!

Wedding with DJ tomorrow!!!

First Day!

I am so in love with California. And huge palm trees. And, oh, I don't know, sunshine!!!
Natalie and I are just LOVing this place. We literally were grinning from ear-to-ear like goofs when we got off the plane. Brienne Michelle (our beautiful, generous, talented and all-around awesome host) met us at the airport. We made her take a quick pic of us with a "palm-frond." She made a mix for our ride home, with California songs, country music and Justin Timberlake. We talked all about everything (like ALLL the famous people she knows, or went to school with, or worked for, etc, etc). Her husband being one of them - he plays french horn and his music was on the trailers for "King Kong" and "Spider Man." Her other good friend auditioned for a Disney movie and the Disney people were picking between her and Vanessa Hudgens. Yes, Brienne's friend was almost "Gabriella" in High School Musical!!!

Ok, so what have we done. Since we have been here we have been quite busy.
Brienne, her husband Preston, and their friends Jared and Nate went bowling with us.We are all really hard-core bowlers. I mean, if I were you I wouldn't mess with me and my mad bowling skills. They are almost as mad as my singing skills ;) In all seriousness, the guys and Brienne were real good and put us to shame!
But they were so funny, that Nat and I couldn't help but have an awesome time :)Next post: Santa Barbara!!!

OHHH! ps. California is way cool. Here is one reason why. Whenever you drive under a tunnel, you honk! It's so flippin fun. Nat and I were so confused. We get to this tunnel and everyone starts honking and revving their engines and I was like "WHAT on earth is going on???" I was looking for police-men or a fire or a car in the way or something! Brienne was like "Oh, whenever you go under a tunnel you honk." Totally cool. I think I am gonna bring that back to MD. Its so fun.

I love friends :)

I have been a slow blogger this week. My b.

But, the reason it has been is slow is because I have been doing stuff with lots of AWEsome people, so I am going to show some blog-love to the fine folks in my life :)

First, I met with Armin Defiesta yesterday to talk photography. His cutie-pie daughter, Jordan, was there and it was great to talk about photography and our area. DC is still quite traditional and formal, and its interesting to watch a totally different style start to come through :)I need to say a quick "Hello and I miss you!" to Julie who has been in Mexico for basically forever.
And a "shout-out" to my KG - you all are my favorite :)
Also, I have been packing for California, which I am super excited about! It's crazy to me how God works things out. Here is my little story....

Some odd years back, David Jay started his awesome photography business and had such a heart to help other people. He was/is amazingly successful. Instead of keeping his "secrets" to himself, he has been so kind and generous with his success. I found his blog and website in 2005, through Jessica Claire's. I was in love with his pictures, and I thought he had a real fun personality. Well, once when I was on his blog, I saw a link for Sarah Barlow. Come to find out, he had really mentored and helped her in photography.Sarah is an awesome, awesome woman of God who is just as - if not more - generous than DJ. I started e-mailing her, because I was so inspired by this 18-or-19ish year old girl who was doing so well. I eventually asked to intern with her and she totally welcomed me into her life.
She taught me so much, and every second of my time with her was wonderful. We laughed, cried, talked, and became such great friends. She sent me home with a whole bunch of knowledge, and even more memories. When I got home, a girl I kind of knew, named Chavia, asked if she could "intern" with me. She totally ran with everything I showed her and she is doing exceptionally well! She already has booked a quite a few weddings, just months after she started her business! Then, last week a girl in my old highschool, named Lauren, interned with me during "Internship Week" at school. We had a week of shoots, editing and fun :)

Now, when DJ started his business, and helped Sarah Barlow, he probably would not have ever thought that little "no-namers" in suburbia Maryland, like me, Chavia and Lauren, would have been so impacted by him and his generosity. So, to both of you, THANK YOU. You really haven't got a clue how big you are in my life! God is too kind to me :)

I am going to be in California shooting with DJ, so you can DEF expect pictures from that!
Natalie and I are sitting in the airport right now, waiting for our plane (duh). I think we are annoying everyone. We have been called "e
nergetic" and one lady was like "So, exactly how old are you two...?" It's ok. We're being good.

We just are singing on escalators, dancing in line for food and doing videos at the gate. N.B.D. I am also watching [b] school videos - any and all photographers NEED to watch them. Super, super helpful!
Have an awesome possum weekend!

:)

oh! ps, its natalie's birthday TOday!

.Natalie and Lydia.

This week I have an intern (which post all about soon :D) and we have been doing shoots everyday! Some of my bff's, Lyd and Natalie, came over to model for us and they 1) are so beautiful and 2) were awesome models. Love you two!!!

ps. The music now does not start automatically :) If you want to listen, feel free to push play and enjoy it!
"She's a Saturn with a sunroof
With her brown hair a-blowing
She's a soft place to land
And a good feeling knowing"
I have such pretty friends :)
"She's a warm conversation
That I wouldn't miss for nothing
She's a fighter when she's mad
And she's a lover when she's loving"
"She's the voice I love to hear
Someday when I'm ninety
She's that wooden rocking chair
I want rocking right beside me"
"Everyday that passes
I only love her more
Yeah, she's the one
That I'd lay down my own life for"

Beautiful.

I just finished a wonderful engagement shoot, and I am trying to narrow down the blog pics.

However, I just came across this one and was like "Whoa." Sarah is just stunning. She is like a J.Crew model or something.More to follow...

They're growing up so fast :)

Today I did a shoot for an all-time favorite family. The youngest is getting big so fast and his mom wanted some pictures of her precious, precious boy.
Kyle is such a gentle giant. He is so big, but very sweet and has a smile that will melt you.
I love Jason Reeves's "You In A Song" and I thought it fit Kyle perfectly :)

Enjoy!

"Trying to figure out
Which way I want this to go...""Do I want it to be happy or sad
Or fast or slow?""Trying to work it out
What it is I feel""Do I wanna rock you, shock you,
Soothe you or move you?""I just wanna write you in a song"
"Put your smile on paper""So you can sing along""I just wanna bottle the sun""Keep your light a secret""I can find when you are gone..."

One more time....

Joe and Kristen are the first couple that make me feel old (and, I'm 18, so thats weird). Joe was in some of my classes in highschool. My age group can't be getting married yet! How does this happen so fast? His fiance, Kristen, is the sister of one of my good-friends.
Joe and Kristen looked like they were on the set of a movie during their shoot. It was almost too perfect how happy they were! Of course, there was no acting at at all - they are just genuinely and completely in love."She's so kissable, huggable,
Lovable, unbelievable"
"She ain't typical,
She's unpredictable,
She's available, its a miracle!"
"How my heart stumbled into someone
So kissable, huggable, lovable, unbelievable"
"Up till now my life has been so lonely and boring" "I never thought I would find someone so
Elegant, intelligent, heaven sent, all my money spent""I put a big down payment on that itty bitty diamond ring""Shes so beautiful, its indisputable,
It's undeniable, shes got-to-havable"
"She's music to my ears, and makes my heart sing""So kissable, huggable, lovable, unbelievable"
"There's so many things
I want to tell her
Like, I love her
But every time I talk
I start to stutter"
{While I was waiting for Joe and Kristen, I found this adorable little vintage shop nestled in the city. I went in and had this insane adrenaline rush. "Oh.my.gosh." The place was awesome, and I decided that Joe and Kristen just HAD to play dress-up during the shoot :)
And being the fun people that they are, they dove right in and were great!}Aaaand, this just made me smile:
I am so happy for you two and I can't wait for your wedding!

D + D Foreva :)

There are so many "types" of love-stories. The "love at first sight" stories, the "best friends who grew up together" stories. The "one who got away, but came back" stories. I decided that my favorite kind, however, are the "high school sweetheart" stories.
Dan and Debbie met junior year in high school, and liked each other pretty instantly. It's been a few years now, they are getting married and they are more in love than ever! It's so, so sweet to see!

We went to the place where "it all started" - their school :)

"Well we go back so far,
swingin in your back yard"
"All the things that we used to do""We were cool back in high school
"Ooh, I really liked you""Must have been your attitude""That’s why you keep on running
In and out of my mind"
"As the years they’ll roll by""Baby, now I know why
I keep coming back to you""You’re the only one that knows me""Love it when you hold me,
Never find a love like this"
"Let me hear you say,
Now I’ll never be lonely""Look at what you’ve shown me,
Never find a love like this""Well, this life tries to keep us apart
You keep calling me back to your heart" "Let me hear you say,
I'm so glad you found me"
"Wrap your world around me"
"Never find a love like this"

ps. It was about 15 degrees outside and windy as anything - Dan and Debbie were such great sports!
